Overview Message

Salem State University's National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) 团队就歧视问题教育员工和学生, harassment, prejudice, and diversity.

About NCBI

NCBI Theory and Philosophy

NCBI Workshops and Trainings

"Welcoming Diversity" Workshop

This workshop consists of a series of incremental, 互动和体验活动，帮助参与者提高自我意识, stretch beyond their comfort zones, and gain new understandings for change. 参与者既是教师也是学习者，其学习成果如下:

  • Celebrate their similarities and differences
  • Recognize the misinformation we learned about various groups

  • Claim pride in group identity

How to Become Part of the NCBI Team

Salem State faculty, staff, 有兴趣成为NCBI培训从业人员的学生必须履行以下义务:

  • Participate in a One Day "Welcoming Diversity" workshop;
  • Complete the 3-Day Train-the-Trainer seminar;
  • Join the Salem State NCBI team;
  • Co-facilitate at minimum two NCBI workshops per calendar year
  • Attend one NCBI team meeting per month;
