勤工俭学奖励
的 Federal College Work-Study Program provides jobs for undergraduate and graduate students with 财务需要, allowing them to earn money to help pay educational expenses. It does not reduce tuition or fees.
的 Federal Work-Study Program emphasizes employment in civic education and work related to your course of study whenever possible. 的 total award depends on when a student applies, 他们的需求水平, and the school's funding level.
If a student is awarded Federal Work-Study funds, various on-campus and off-campus positions, including 社区服务职位, 是可用的. New students should plan to attend the job orientation session during their university orientation program.
资格和流程
To receive Federal Work-Study funds, a student must have a FAFSA 存档于 财政援助办事处, and their financial aid file must be complete. 的 student is responsible for seeking out, interviewing, and securing a Work-Study position on campus.
Please remember that employment is not guaranteed. Work-Study is available only during the Fall and Spring semesters. 的re is no Federal Work-Study funding available for the Summer term.

勤工助学政策
Students receiving Federal Work-Study funds must secure a job placement within three weeks of the start of the semester. Students who have not secured a position by the end of three weeks will have their Federal Work-Study award canceled.
Students hired under Work-Study must show earnings five weeks into the semester they are employed, or their Federal Work-Study award canceled for that semester.
Once canceled, the award cannot be reinstated.
Students who receive Federal Work-Study funds must complete all employment paperwork and contract with the 学生就业办公室. 的y must also have the appropriate documentation (originals only, no copies).
Students not initially awarded Work-Study may place their name on the Work-Study waitlist at the start of the Fall semester.
Before students begin working, they must submit a copy of their semester class schedule to their supervisor. Work schedules are arranged with the student and their supervisors around their classroom hours. Students cannot work during regularly scheduled class times, even if the class is canceled.
Students may hold only one Work-Study position per term and are limited to working 20 hours per week. 然而, students with a Work-Study position may also be employed simultaneously in a regular student employment position. If a student has a Work-Study position and a regular student employment position, they can work a maximum of 29 hours per week in total.
Student employees are paid bi-weekly, and wages can vary depending on their position.
Off-Campus and 社区 Service Positions
Off-campus Work-Study job opportunities exist in non-profit and for-profit businesses and agencies. Students may also be interested in off-campus community service jobs. 的se services are designed to improve the quality of life for the community residents, particularly low-income individuals, or to solve problems related to their needs.
